Finally. A restaurant that’s all about the Cheese.
CHEESEWERKS™ is an unique Toronto-based restaurant | retail operation that places Cheese and artisan products at the centre of every offering. Crafted by a menu of artisan grilled cheese, house-made soups, fine cheeses and other gourmet grub that can be enjoyed with a glass of wine or small-batch artisan brew.
CHEESEWERKS is fully engaged in the promotion and development of their ingredients and will continuously champion those that need to be celebrated and showcased.

Do you do take-out?
Of course! Grilled cheese don’t travel that well – so you’ll have to eat them fast, but certainly stop in and even enjoy a cold beer while waiting for your food.
Do you cater?
Yes! We can either cater onsite for your event with fresh hot grilled cheese, or your can order Cheese Boards, Desserts, Breads and other gourmet items for parties, office meetings, or maybe just a treat. Send us an email at [email protected] for more info and pricing for your special request.
Is CHEESEWERKS a chain restaurant?
No! There is only one CHEESEWERKS, and it’s independently family owned-and-operated by Kevin, Tom and Taylor. We’re at the restaurant almost every day, so please say Hi and let us know how your experience was.
Do you take reservations?
Yes we do. Reservation are available THURS to SUN ONLY and must be booked by calling 416-243-3327. See you soon.
Can I host a party at CHEESEWERKS?
Certainly, with enough notice and enough hungry folks we can rent out the place, or close for a special event. Contact us at [email protected] for more information and availability.
Are you really Lactose-Intolerant Intolerant?
No, not really. We stock all sorts of Cheese that are lactose-free, including great Sheep & Goat cheeses that you just have to try!
I’m gluten-free, can I eat at CHEESEWERKS?
Oh yeah – we have a couple breads on hand to make your grilled cheese gluten-free.
Do you really only serve Grilled Cheese?
Nope, while our menu is driven by our Grilled Cheese, we offer Artisan Cheese selections, Charcuterie, house-made soups, desserts. We also carry lots of drinks like our house-made sodas, plus an incredible artisan beer and wine selection.
